$500 plus shipping and fees. Definitely flawed. HMU for details.
I member when people would trade AK for Toro's aka the good ol' days.
Yeah this place use to be great, now I barely ever even log in.
I used to live and breathe this page and tinychat for a hot minute as well. RIP GBC.
I Am looking for any old slinger work with the Audrey stencil though.
I don't think I have my Salinger biggie and Tupac 14mm. But I remember this place, and often wonder how old man moz is doin .
I blame Peaches
But in all seriousness, this was destined to happen when the mods disappeared and the forum became open to all the newcomers with a valid credit card, instead of the original $50 fee.
Hi. Just as an FYI—— there’s an app. Called Glassgrab. I’ve had several sales there. Seems like a good format. Also, I’m looking for a toro isf to tree. Buy or trade. For trades, check my glassgrab items. I’m under the same name, evrknot. Last thought—I always felt like my glass was “not good enough” for BOROMarket. Glassgrab carries the full spectrum, from Salt to Grav & all above & between.
Yes Sir. I am with you there this site is like night and compared to back in the day. It's a joke now and a Ghost town. Oh well nothing good lasts forever. It's a shame tho this site used to the best thing out there. Peace bro.
I am actually looking to sell a 14mm Slinger Hepburn if you are still looking.
hit me up on ig I know of a buyer
Yup all good things must come to an end, surprised this place still exists, most forums have disappeared...
When did TokeCity disappear? that was what got me into collecting originally.
This place was incredible back in 2010. Need a sick slide. Where do I get em these days? Lol
Stopped by to chime in with my .02
BM was really, the ONLY place a decade ago where legit glass existed on the internet. It was this place and TokeCity and that was about it. Now you've gotta remember that the world was a very different place back then. Facebook Marketplace wasn't anything yet and Instagram was non-existent for the most part as well. I remember I had the opportunity to puchase a Kurt B. Honeybear for around 700 iirc and tiny AK tube all millied out for 900 - both of those prices today would be like telling someone you bought Apple stock back for when it went for like five bucks a share.
I remember I got out of the game back in 2013. From what I remember interest just started drying up once Facebook basically replaced all the forums. And then yeah, once IG blew up it was all pretty much over from that point on.
Another thing to consider was the advent of China glass, or should I more precisely say, knock-offs. They started to replicate 5k dollar glass at the time pretty convincingly. What happened is that legit high end glass got even more expensive... way more expensive. The spread grew very far apart and there's no real middle ground anymore. It's either cheap DHgate copies or average production stuff from some of the more established names in the industry going for nearly 700 to 1,000 bucks on average. Worked pieces? Forget it as all the notable artists are IG famous nowadays and don't have time to be bothered.
Things have changed a lot since ten years ago. I ended up keeping the majority of my collection, mainly beacuse I feel that it's gonna take another ten or twenty years (and legalization of Cannabis on a federal level) for the glass that I have to really start appreciating. Once J.P Toro or Steve from SG or Scott Deppe get too old to make this stuff anymore, then I really do believe some of the earlier stuff will start climbing past the 5k and beyond realm. But for right now most of my collection remains fairly stagnant in value.
