"The Shelbo Whisper Tips were developed so I could have a tool used for glassblowing that was able to work both soft glass and borosilicate in the flameshop and in the furnace shop. The design of the tips focuses on achieving fine detail in glassworking. Each tip has a wide variation of flame settings and can be adjusted between the flame you do the majority of your glassworking in down to a tiny and hot pinpoint shaped flame. The unique combination of orifice size and hole pattern creates the perfect glassworking flame. Using Shelbo Whisper Tips you will have better productivity with better heat saturation, better flame performance, and fuel savings due to the efficient design of the tips. Less uncombusted propane will be in your working region of the flame, leaving you more control with color and when using soft glass. Taking your Shelbo Whisper Tip into the furnace shop will help you add detail to your work and polish punties with ease. By using a Shelbo Whisper Tip you will be investing in your livelyhood and a quality tool to help you make the best work you can make."
    - Mike Shelbo

Good luck to all who enter!

In the midst of getting my home studio set up.
Got an oxycon on the way, kiln picked up a couple days ago, and my buddy will be letting me borrow his 6b until I can afford a torch.
Ohh some tips would rock for that 6b!
Here is a soft glass dabber I made, I havent had much time in the studio spending all my money setting up my own, but I had to use my kiln for something, so i busted something out on the hot head.

Those tips look sweet. I'm not even sure where my national is anymore, but this makes me want to go dig it out. How does one enter the drawing?

Feel free to disqualify as I'm not technically an artist. This entry is on behalf of Joe Itzastein. He's been killing it lately and everytime he comes on Boromarket he gets too distracted to make it back to the torch:lol:

This is a recent piece, not a , which is called "Song for Japan".
It's a functioning rattle I made for my friends in Japan with a nuclear cooling tower as the sound body. The cooling tower has Japanese anti-nuclear logos raised in relief on either side and a tree with cherry blossoms growing out of it. The furs are recycled from old clothing, etc and include opssum and bobcat. The feathers are guinea hen, symbolising radioactive steam emerging from the cooling stacks. The red chord symbolises the loss of life during the tsunami and the ongoing and future deaths from the nuclear contamination. The whole thing is something over 12 inches long.
